Emcon Consulting Engineers is a Namibian consultancy firm operational in the building services, energy, sustainability, civil engineering, and project management sectors, with its head office in Windhoek.

Emcon Consulting Group is fully conversant with international trends, best practices and latest technologies through access to a worldwide network of experts that support the Group with specialist support and advice. The firm is registered with the Association of Consulting Engineers of Namibia and subscribes to its constitution and code of ethics.

More recently Emcon extended their capability through their franchise model by adding engineering expertise in the minerals processing, mining, water and infrastructure sectors.

Emcon is proudly born and bred Namibian! We commenced operations in 1992, shortly after Namibian Independence as Electrical & Mechanical consulting engineers. The group's staff and scope of services has grown organically to where the staff complement comprises over 30 specialists with diverse expertise and a wealth of experience.

Emcon has developed significant skill in the Namibian market, with a number of firsts: first rural electrification projects with pre-payment metering; first large-scale grid-connected wind turbine implementation;  first 6-star rated Greenstar building in Namibia.

Our international experience has a strong southern and central African focus, including projects in Lesotho, Mozambique, Angola, South Africa, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya. Beyond the African continent Emcon has provided services to project teams in China, South Korea and Europe.

Emcon recognizes that staff are our most valuable asset. For this reason, Emcon continuously invests in training and skills development. Emcon staff receive developmental and technical training to provide personal and career growth, as well as keeping up to date with best practices and latest technologies. In addition, Emcon continually provides in-service training to students from Namibian institutions of higher learning.
