Projects include
- Development of a computer simulated model of Johannesburg International Airport to enable effective utilisation of resources.

- Impact Analysis Report on the physical and commercial impacts of the 2012 Olympic Games on existing long term contracts with the London Underground.

- Construction of the Auas-Omaere 132kV Transmission Line including route selection, survey, route clearing, staking, excavation, erection, stringing, test and commissioning.

- Development and implementation of a new tunnel cleaning methodology on the London Underground network that resulted in significant savings in operating cost whilst freeing up some valuable maintenance time.

- Redevelopment of Northumberland Park Depot to enable the stabling and maintenance of new Rolling Stock. This included the construction of new synchronised lifting facility, new cab simulators with training areas, new office accommodation, new LVAC power supplies, a depot warning system and some track/signals alterations.

2) Contract Management
Our service is designed to provide continuing advice and support to clients in order to reduce their risk and commercial exposure and optimising on contract conditions. Contract Management for us is about getting more out of a contract for the same without jeopardising the client/supplier relationship.

Projects include
- Preparation and evaluation of tender documentation for all power distribution (11kV-33kV) projects within Namibia.

- Contract Management of the London Underground Public Private Partnership (PPP) Contract for the upgrade and maintenance of the Underground network (worth £30bn over 30 years).

- Implementation of Variations between PPP parties (London Underground) and non-PPP parties (Private Finance Initiatives).
|

- Management and resolution of claims and disputes between London Underground and their PPP Contractor. This included settlement of claims or where no resolution could be found, adjudication.

3) Risk Management
EMCON has extensive experience in Risk Management and offers continuing support to clients in order to reduce their risk and commercial exposure at business and project level. 4) Training
We offer both in-house and residential training courses/awareness sessions in several of the disciplines that we specialise in. Training courses are tailor-made to meet each individual client's needs. Topics and examples can be specific to the client's business and/or other industries and environments.
